About Us
I am Sunil, the founder and coach of Mind Puzzles Chess Academy. I am 40 years old and currently work as an IT Administrator at HCL.
Chess has been my passion for many years. This passion turned into a deeper purpose when I personally trained my 8-year-old son from the beginner level, guiding him step by step. Through consistent training and dedication, he has grown into a FIDE-rated player and an Arena Titled player. This journey gave me first-hand experience in understanding how children learn chess, the challenges they face, and the right way to nurture talent patiently and effectively.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to make chess education affordable, reachable, and beneficial to every child. Through our excellent offline classroom environment, we nurture focus, discipline, strategy, and problem-solving abilities that extend far beyond the chessboard.

Our goal is to grow into one of the best chess academies in Bengaluru, without compromising on personal attention or coaching quality.
We began this academy from our home with limited students, focusing on small batches and individual attention. This approach helps us maintain a friendly, safe, and focused learning environment where every child can grow confidently.

What should they bring to class?
